Shuffled MV Launch

Cebu's Shuffled MV and T-shirt Launch took place at The HIghlights of Harolds Hotel (Harolds Hotel rooftop) on November 10, 2012 hosted by no other than Sonic Boom Philippines.

Our P150.00 not only allowed us to enjoy our bottle of beer but also rock with Cebu's The Ambassadors, Faspitch, Line Divides and party with DJ Gino.

Congratulations to Shuffled!

Adventure Time to Moalboal

Plan A was to go to Camotes Island but because a storm was about to hit Cebu, we decided to go to Moalboal instead.

How to go to Basdaku, Moalboal:
1. Ride a bus from the South Bus Terminal to Moalboal
    - Terminal fee: P5.00 / person
    - Bus fare: P107.00 / person
    - Travel time: 3 hours
2. Get off at the Moalboal "lungsod" or town and ride a tricyle to Basdaku.
    - Tricycle fare: P20.00 / person will do
    - Entrace fee (for Basdaku): P5.00 / person
3. Pick a place to stay

There are cottages you can rent or you can just set up a tent. Or just stay on the shore, you can entrust your things at a store settled at the beach shore.
There are public showers you can use for P5 - 10.00.

Mike and I decided to stay at HR Beach Resort.
Room rates were reasonable but I bet you can get cheaper ones somewhere else.
We got the Standard Airconditioned Room for 2 for P1,500.00
The room had 1 matrimonial bed, a cabinet/ shelf for your things and a clean bathroom (with shower).
The resort provides complimentary towels, tissue paper and soap.

HK Beach Resort Restaurant is open from 7 am to 7 pm.
 Breakfast Meal: Bacon and Egg

Breakfast Meal: Corned Beef and Egg

The staff at HK is really nice and accommodating.

4/5 stars :D

    - Tricycle fare: P20.00 / person will do
2. Ride a V-hire from Moalboal to Cebu Terminal
   - V-hire fare: P100.00
   - Travel time: Less that 3 hours

Can't wait for the next adventure!

Road Trip: Take Plan B

Mike and I have been thinking of going in out of town vacation for weeks and finally we did it!
The initial plan was to go to Camotes Island for a 1 night stay but due to weather problems, we decided to go to Moalboal.
We did not have any plan at all. Just go ride a bus to Moalboal, an that's it.
All did not have anything else with us except our bag full of clothes, 1.5 liter of water and 2 packs of chips.

Plan B: Just go swimming somewhere in Cebu --outside the city.
This was taken somewhere in Barili, in a fast moving bus, with my phone.
I just saw the beautiful view, called Mike's attention, immediately snapped a photo and breathed it all in.
It was the best way to spend Mike's RD.
Be spontaneous. Live in the moment.

Sweet Escape

Before the semester ended, a midst all the tension brought about by the finals week, my friend Shelly and I decided to take a breather and visit Asturias. No school to think about. No stress. No boyfriends. No worries.

To get to Asturias, Cebu:
Ride a vehicle for hire or V-hire that goes straight to Asturias, just ask the driver.
Fare: P100.00
Travel Time: 3 hours via Trans-central Highway.

This route may be scary and sometimes considered dangerous, but I think this is the best route to take especially if you use your own vehicle.
Enjoy the mountains, cold fresh air and the scenery.

Shelly, Jude (Shelly's brother) and me.

Way to the beach from Shelly's rest house.

Hello beach!

I was never good at biking. :/

Hello doggy!!

On our second day, we decided to eat lunch at Wild Wild West, Balamban.
We weren't able to try the adventure rides or go fishing but we did try their food.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed.
The place was great and the people were nice, it's just that the service was terrible. You can actually see the crew getting all rambled up. They mixed up the customers' orders and even forgot some of it. We had to keep on following up on our orders. For the food that we ordered, all most all of it was okay but for the ones I was really excited about was bland--the soup with the shrimp and lechon kawali!
Food price was okay though. They have set meals too.

The view once you arrive at the Wild Wild West Restaurant.

To get to Cebu City from Asturias:
You can either wait by the main road for a V-hire or you can ride a tricycle to Balamban terminal.
Fare: P100.00
Travel Time: 3 hours via Trans-central Highway

I can't wait to visit Asturias soon.
