My New Everyday Make-Up Purse

I got a new purse for my make up. Finally. My Aunt who I call Mommy Bebot gave me this. It's an Estee Lauder Red Cosmetics Bag. I love it. It fits all my stuff. It's crazy.

It's around 7"(length), 4" (height), 2" (width).

I love the texture and material used.

HAHA I still have the plastic around the zipper handle.

Before I had this, I used a Clinique purse also from Mommy Bebot. I used this for like 1 and a half years. I loved it so much I used it that I didn't want to use anything else. No once have I ever washed it. HAHA

Dirtyyyyy

It's a pink and white floral bag. It's more or less 6" (length), 3"(height), 2"(width).

I think I'm having separation anxiety from "letting go" of this purse. But I really love my new one. The Clinique Purse is pretty but the Estee Lauder Purse is sexy.

For me, the Clinique purse is more practical to use as and everyday makeup bag but the thing is, I bring a lot of stuff. Too much stuff. So the Estee Lauder purse is more appropriate for me.

What do you think?

I'm not sure about the prices but I checked some online stores.
White and Pink Floral Clinique Purse is being sold for $5.00 at Etsy.
$3.99 at Beauty Encounter.
$7.99 at Amazon.
P299.00 at Sulit.

Estee Lauder Red Cosmetics Bag is being sold at $12.00 at Yes Style.
$9.90 at The Pretty Face.

Sly As A Fox

I finally tried the Aunt-given MAC nail-polish. It's called Sly As A Fox and it has a brownish-red color. I find it nice but too mature for me. I think I shall wear it on a job interview on something. I love how MAC calls their nail polish "Nail Lacquer"! :)

It's really easy and smooth to apply and so far, it's still on my nails which is a good sign since I have been washing the dishes, cooking, going to the gym, etc. It doesn't chip off easily. Another good thing about it is that it makes your skin look lighter. Okay, I don't know if that's really a good thing or not, but I have fair skin and applying this makes it look lighter.

I don't know how much it really costs since my Aunt gave it to me but I check it out and they say it's $13. That's around P520.00. My Aunt bought it for C$5!! And it came with other stuff too. I think she bought it at a cause for cancer or something like that that's why it's cheap. I'll talk about the other things that came with it soon. :)

Oldies

These are the things I used before my Dad bought me the "rewards".

1.) The Rice Company Eye Stick Treatment & Concealer (RC602 Medium Lemongrass)

My sister gave me this. She got it at Beauty Bar in Ayala Cebu. She got it for herself but she started running and got darker so she gave it to me. I checked out the price online and it costs $8.00 or around P320.00. I love the fact that it's a herbal concealer and is infused with herbs such as Ginseng, Green Tea, Gingko Biloba, Chamomile and Aloe Vera. And they added in cucumber to reduce the puffiness around your eyes.

2.) Maybelline Kabuki Brush (from Pure Mineral Blush)

I love the fact that it's so cute and handy and that it comes for free with Maybelline's Pure Mineral Blush but it's too rough and hard for me. I lasted for like a year though but it hurts when you put blush on using this.

3.) LR Cosmetics' Powder Rouge ( 1 )

I love how LR calls their blush "powder rouge". It sounds so sexy. Okay, so LR is a German brand and it's really good. It may be a bit expensive but it's definitely worth it. I love their powder rouge which is obvious since I finished the whole thing. I really don't know how much this costs but their catalogue now says that their mineral blush powder costs AU$24.90 / NZ$31.90.

I'll miss these.

Papa's Reward

Yesterday, my dad decided to buy me something as a reward for baking cookies. First, I just asked for a new concealer cause mine was dying. He said yes. Then I asked if I could also get new blush on, he said yes again. And then, my mom asked my dad to get me a new blush brush and he said yes. I ended up with three new things. :)

Roll call:

1.) e.l.f. All Over Cover Stick (Honey 3202)

I got this for only P129.75! Cheap eh? Aaand, I love it. It's really smooth and blends really well. I first read about this at my friend's tumbler account. Roselle Camay's "it's RC". I've been liking e.l.f. ever since I tried their Two-Way Cake. It works as a powder and foundation, and it's really affordable too. Anyway, e.l.f. which stands for eyes lips face is a New York Brand and has a wide range of make-ups to choose from.

2.) e.l.f. Total Face Brush

It also costs P129.75. It has really soft bristles and I use it for applying blush ons, loose powder and bronzer. I got the 3" so it's really handy.

3.) Fashion 21 Single Blush-On (1)

P125.00 only. I got it in a peachy color and it's perfect. It has a bit of shimmer which makes it better. And oh, did I mention Fashion21 is Philippine made? Good. Good.

I'll soon talk about the old stuff I had before I got these. :)

Chilling at Starting Point

After Joed's, the group decided to chill at Starting Point (Panagdait, Mabolo). Drinks and bands was the main act. I haven't tasted their food yet. The place has a relaxed atmosphere but it gets really noisy. We had to scream just to hear each other (it doesn't work most sometimes) until we decided to move outside. Talking inside was impossible.

Dinner at Joed's Lutong Hapon

For the WWP's monthly dinner which happened on April 8, 2011; we decided to try Joed's Lutong Hapon located beside Mabolo's elevated basketball court. Great Japanese food at a very affordable price. My pocket was not empty at the end of the night!

I gobbled lots of California Maki, Ria's oder of Ebi Tempura, Noyl's order of Sashimi, and 3/4 of their Beef Teriyaki bowl. I could not finish the whole bowl since I was eating and drinking Coke at the same time. Carbon, carbon, carbon.

Ebi Tempura plate P95

Beef Teriyaki bowl P95
I find the Teriyaki too sweet but it didn't stop me from eating almost all of it. Mike ate the rest. :p

Sashimi plate P150

I forgot what this was but it sure was good! :p

Joed's Lutong Hapon by the way is not your usual "fine dining" type of eating. It's just a carenderia type which makes it so great and relaxed!

I think they adjusted their recipes to make it more satisfying for the Filipino tongue. Drinks were self-service. :)
